 Yin and Yang, are the two forms of Ch'i energy in its simplest analysis. They are each others opposition; light/dark, male/female, and good/evil. Together they create all of life, matter, and our emotions. Yin and Yang cannot exist without each other, and both contain of the other. This is where the contemporary Yin/Yang symbol has come from, with both in harmony in a circle, each containing a pin prick of its opposite.
